Head of the Digital & Direct To Consumer Business, John Hancock
Peter DeFrancesco is Head of the Digital & Direct to Consumer business for John Hancock, the US division of Toronto-based Manulife Financial Corporation. He is leading the company’s direct to consumer efforts by developing a digital ecosystem that serves individuals across their range of needs in wealth, health and protection. He is a member of both the U.S. Leadership Team and Manulife’s Global Leadership Team and serves as the President of John Hancock Personal Financial Services, LLC.
Mr. DeFrancesco joined John Hancock from Chubb Group, a global property & casualty insurance company, where he was Chief Commercial Officer of Chubb’s Digital Business.
Previously, Mr. DeFrancesco spent more than ten years in the digital space working in leadership roles for companies such as Bankrate and Orbitz.
Mr. DeFrancesco earned a BBA from Emory University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
