Simonetta Vendittelli

Chief Accounting Officer

Simonetta Vendittelli is Chief Accounting Officer of John Hancock. She leads the controllership function which includes accounting and reporting, management reporting and financial planning, finance operations and internal control over financial reporting.  She is also the appointed CFO of our US insurance operating companies responsible for financial governance and oversight.
 

With over 20 years of experience at Manulife, Ms. Vendittelli has held numerous positions including roles in Audit Services, business unit controllership, and Corporate Finance. Prior to joining Manulife, Ms. Vendittelli held Finance and Strategy positions at Royal Bank of Canada as well as KPMG where she specialized in the audit of financial services companies.
 

Ms. Vendittelli holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy and a post-graduate Diploma of Accountancy from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. She is a licensed member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants (Quebec).
