What is the John Hancock Vitality Program?
The John Hancock Vitality Program rewards life insurance customers for their everyday healthy activities, like walking the dog, going to the doctor and buying healthy food. Healthy activities logged through the Vitality app or website earn Vitality Points and those points add up to a Vitality Status. The higher your status, the greater your rewards! John Hancock offers two versions of the program – Vitality GO and Vitality PLUS.
What is the difference between John Hancock Vitality GO and PLUS?
John Hancock Vitality GO is automatically included with policies at no additional cost. This free version of the program rewards members for the healthy choices they make every day. It includes:

Can I upgrade from Vitality GO to Vitality PLUS?
Vitality GO members who are eligible to upgrade may choose to do so at any time during the first 25 months after purchasing their policy for as little as $2 per month. When a member upgrades, their Vitality Points and Vitality Status from their Vitality GO account will be automatically transferred to their new PLUS membership to give them a head start towards greater rewards!
To learn more about upgrading to Vitality PLUS, log in to your John Hancock Vitality account, view the "Rewards" menu, and select "Upgrade to Vitality PLUS". How do the Vitality Wheel and Vitality Squares work?
Members can receive points and prizes using the Vitality Wheel and Vitality Squares.
Vitality Wheel is an interactive mobile application engagement activity that allows you to spin a wheel for the opportunity to receive Vitality Points and e-gift cards. Wheel spins are earned when you meet your weekly points target through Standard or Advanced workouts, or when you achieve a new Vitality Status. You must have the John Hancock Vitality mobile app to activate your weekly points target and spin the Vitality Wheel.
Vitality Squares is an interactive online engagement activity you can play monthly to receive Vitality Points and e-Gift Cards by revealing squares with fruit images. Vitality Squares is available to Vitality members who have completed their Vitality Health Review (VHR) in the current program year. The higher your Reward Status, the greater the number of squares you may reveal and the greater your possible reward. If you receive a gift card, you will be presented the option to choose a different gift card within a select group.

7 The Galleri test is only available to registered John Hancock Vitality PLUS members who are 40 years of age or older and have completed the initial Vitality Health Review (VHR). For eligible polices with Face Amounts of $500,000 or greater in life insurance coverage, 100% of the cost of the test will be subsidized. For policies with Face Amounts less than $500,000 in life insurance coverage, 50% of the cost of the test will be subsidized. Test eligibility is also subject to Grail’s clinically informed criteria, as well as additional cancer risk factors for those ages 40-49. Please note: for members with multiple policies, the policy with the highest Face Amount in life insurance coverage will determine the subsidy amount of the Galleri offer. The offer of discounted access to the Galleri test is subject to change. Access to the Galleri test through the John Hancock Vitality Program is not currently available in all states. The Galleri test is manufactured and distributed by GRAIL,LLC. John Hancock does not provide medical advice, is not involved in the design or manufacture of the Galleri test and is not responsible for the accuracy or performance of the Galleri test. The Galleri test does not detect a signal for all cancers and not all cancers can be detected in the blood. False positive and false negative results do occur. The Healthy Engagement Benefit rider does not offer premium savings but instead offers the opportunity to enhance the death benefit by engaging in the Vitality Program and is only available on certain products.
