For insured: Getting started with the CareGiver App
Granting access to your Independent Care Provider (ICP)
Before your provider can track your care using the CareGiver app, you must grant them access via your LTC online account. Please note: If you are the Independent Care Provider (ICP) please refer to the guide for registering as an Independent Care Provider (ICP).
Follow these steps to grant access:
1. Log into your LTC online account
2. Go to ‘Claims’ in the left navigation menu
3. Go to ‘Providers’
4. Click the ‘Grant access’
5. Your provider will receive an email invitation (valid for 7 days)
Keep in mind
Important: Granting access allows the ICP to register for CareGiver but does not provide access to your Long-Term Care policy. You may register multiple ICPs if needed.
